For the first time in 38 years, an Indian face has made it to the world’s most coveted calendar.
Bangalore-born supermodel Lakshmi Menon is in the 2011 Pirelli Calendar, which has been conceptualised by artist-designer Karl Lagerfeld this year.
In the calendar — themed on Greek
and Roman mythology — Menon (far right) is seen posing with models Erin Wasson (C) and Bianca Balti (far left).
